Students who successfully complete the above mentioned programmes can than choose to transfer to the final year of an accountancy degree of an Australia university or a New Zealand tertiary institution (university or polytechnic).

Those who aspire to be qualified accountants after obtaining their degree in accountancy can then proceed further by sitting for the remaining papers of the following professional bodies such as :

  1. Australian Society of Certified Practicing Accountants (ASCPA)
  2. Institute of Chartered Accountants of New Zealand (ICANZ)
  3. Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA)
  4. The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA)
  5. The Malaysian Association of Certified Public Accountants (MACPA)
  6. The Malaysian Association of Certified Public Accountants (MACPA)

Successful completion of any one of the above examinations together with relevant working experience of a certain duration will qualify candidates for admission into the respective body and subsequently admission into Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA) as Public Accountants or as Registered Accountants.

Good jobs of high salaries are plentiful for those who graduate with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy and especially those who are admitted as members of one of the above professional bodies in Accountancy.
